Hi! My name is Misty Lohn. I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who fell in love with all things aesthetic medicine! I have been a Registered Nurse for 18 years and a Nurse Practitioner for 6 years. I have been blessed to work and learn in many areas of healthcare. My career journey has included geriatrics, neurological intensive care, internal medicine, medical-surgical and clinic endeavors. While all those areas of medicine are fascinating and impactful to patients, being able to impact someone through helping them build self-confidence is an amazing experience. The happiness and wow factor I have been able to witness on a client’s face in aesthetic medicine is unforgettable. Tears of joy…that’s what I’ve witnessed on client’s faces when they see the result of minor adjustments to their natural appearance with safe treatments. Whether through anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal filler in the cheeks or augmentation of the lips, the response is always the same…wide smile and a happy heart.
Aesthetic…MEDICINE.. you ask? Yes, that is correct…medicine. In fact, aesthetic medicine aligns with an evidence based approach just like all medical procedures performed in other facets of the medical industry. Educating clients and allowing them to make informed decisions prior to going forward with treatment is one of my passions. I am dedicated about teaching and guiding my clients to make the best choices to meet their aesthetic needs.
One question I am often asked is how I came to the name, Carpe Omni Medspa. My life and career philosophy has expanded from the basic Carpe Diem (seize the day) to a broadened and bold outlook of life where I want to Carpe Omni (Seize Everything or Take All). I believe everyone should be able to wake up each day and seize all that is offered in life. The best life is when we can be our authentic selves and part of that journey is allowing ourselves to seize all that we want. I believe Carpe Omni Medspa offers the empowerment to seize everything YOU desire in life.
